И надо было королю Артуру сходить на охоту и встретить волшебного оленя! Теперь Джон и Мэри должны найти, поймать и привести королю это животное, и возражения просто не принимаются. Поскольку на ранчо у сладкой парочки ремонт, а в средневековом замке не очень-то много развлечений, янки с энтузиазмом принимаются за поиск, по пути наводя, по своему обыкновению, порядок во всех окрестностях.

И, хотя олень может высекать своим копытом золотые монеты, одним золотом все проблемы не решить. Потому рабочие старательно разбирают завалы, строят и ремонтируют, Джон борется со скелетами, гремлин уничтожает большие препятствия, а Мэри колдует, чтоб герои отправились сначала в зачарованный лес, потом на остров Авалон, а потом и вовсе в путешествие по всему Камелоту. А все потому, что встреча с оленем повлекла за собой массу других проблем, связанных с проклятием и зачарованным гобеленом.

В седьмой части стратегии «Новые янки» действие происходит в Камелоте. Здесь все знакомо и привычно: враги, препятствия, постройки и растения. Добавилось и немного нового: появились злобные блуждающие грибы, которые отравляют рабочих вокруг себя, огромные корни, после уничтожения которых остается приличное количество золота, и красивые, но противные цветы, которые надо уничтожать.

Кроме собственно игры, разработчики приготовили новые мини-игры. В них вы можете потренироваться в стрельбе по летающим жабам при помощи волшебного посоха, сбивать с лошадей противников-рыцарей и разгадывать магические тайны друидов. В игре есть три режима прохождения: без времени, в котором вы сможете играть в свое удовольствие, а также нормальный, со временем, где нужно будет планировать свои действия, и экспертный, самый сложный, в котором времени дается очень мало.
